6thアルバム「Breaking the Silence」からの先行シングル
FPMの一員として1990年代活動し、2000年に1stアルバム「Robo*Brazileira」発売以降ユニークなソロ活動を主体に、Towa Tei、Señor Coconut（Atom Heart）、Clare and The Reasons、Fernanda Takai（Pato Fu）などと共作・共演してきた安田寿之。「ロボットが歌うブラジル音楽」、「全曲モノラルのコンピレーション」、「世界の童謡の電子音楽カバー」などコンセプチュアルな作風から離れ、生歌・ピアノを中心にした生楽器を用いシンガー・ソングライターのような楽曲をイージーリスニングやジャズのような雰囲気でアレンジした5thアルバム「Nameless God's Blue」を2015年初頭に発表。J-Wave Tokio Hot 100にて6週にわたりチャートインするなど、好評を得た。
リスナーからのフィードバックを受け、アプリケーションやソフトウェアのヴァージョンアップの概念を音楽アルバムで運用する「ヴァージョン・アップ・ミュージック」という手法で制作される6thアルバム「Breaking the Silence」からの先行シングル「Landfall」。
CMへ提供された楽曲のオリジナル＜Original＞、熟練のロボ声（2000年の1stソロアルバムよりRobo*Brazileiraとして活動し、Señor Coconutのアルバムにも参加）とディスコ的リズムによるエディット＜Vocoded＞、ピアノでリハーモナイズされたアコースティック＜Acoustic Reprise＞という構成。ヴォーカルと作詞には、スウェーデンのエレクトロニック・ユニットTromboneの2人が参加している。
先進的だがポップなエレクトロニック・ミュージックという独自性が発揮された作品群が期待される。
A prior single from the 6th album "Breaking the Silence", advanced but pop electronic suite.
The single includes the updated version of the work for CM (Single), a version featured a virtuosic robot vocals (Yasuda is well known as a robot singer "Robo*Brazileira", collaborated with Señor Coconut and etc.) and discotheque beats (Vocoded) and a re-harmonized piano version (Acoustic Reprise). A Swedish electronic unit "Trombone" is featured as a vocalist and lyricists. This single anticipates an advanced but pop album.
